After 30 years of predominantly unpaid work as an artist, labor researcher, and poverty activist, Timothy Speed is finally broke and falls into the clutches of the eccentric job counselor, Mrs. Redlich. Her job center is located inside a gigantic bust of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, where the poor must do everything to be liked. Stigmatized, marginalized, and pushed to the fringes of society, Speed finds himself in free fall. But he has a plan. With the idea of a new economy and a new form of work, he aims to finally liberate humanity from poverty.
