Last Breath (2024)

Based on the book Le Dernier Souffle by Régis Debray and Claude Grange, Costa-Gavras tackles a profound theme in this film. Augustin Masset, a doctor specializing in palliative care, engages in a dialogue about palliative care with the famous writer Fabrice Toussaint. Together, they embark on an introspective journey of several encounters in which the writer confronts his own fears, doubts and beliefs, questioning the meaning of life and the inevitable final destination.
