Depicts Walter Ulbricht's career as a worshiped and omniscient state father, at the same time the structure of the GDR is presented in its most beautiful facets. This propaganda film, which was once committed to Walter Ulbricht on his 60th birthday in 1953, was banished to the archives in Germany at the behest of the then high commissioner of the USSR; who in his opinion, the anniversary should be more modest.
