Kidnapper king Chandan Sonar of Bihar, who was arrested two days ago, came to Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh when he was released on bail in 2011. There is no case registered against him in Singrauli, but he had established his business empire here by becoming Chandramohan. Police of three states had announced a reward of 21 lakhs on him. Even after this, he had settled in Singrauli for 10 years by colluding with the police, administration and politicians. Chandan Sonar, who had become a synonym of terror for industrialists in many cities of the country, had spread terror to Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jharkhand and West Bengal. He has kidnapped businessmen from Surat to Raipur and collected ransom of crores. He was living in Singrauli district of MP as a hotel businessman for the last 10 years. He was known as Chandramohan in Singrauli. When the Crime Branch of West Bengal arrested him two days ago, people could not believe it at first. Now the information that is coming out about him has not only surprised people but also left the police and administration officials in a state of panic.
