The Ballad of Rose Mae

After already losing his first wife, Edwin Gray, the wealthy banker, finds himself at the funeral of his only child, Rose Mae, who, despite the doubts of the suspicious town gossipers, fell prey to the same sickness that took his wife, the Spanish Flu. Through the twists and turns of the many conversations and inner thoughts of the funeral attendees, we learn the truth behind Rose Mae's demise.
