In Memory of Korra (2022)

Corrado "Korra" Pesce was one of the most talented and respected climbers of his generation. Throughout his career he has accelerated mountaineering raising the bar from Chamonix to the Himalayas to Patagonia. He was a demanding mountain force in his achievements. Many climbers have been inspired by his deeply rooted lifestyle, values and way of life. Everything he did, he did with his own style. On January 28, 2022, after reaching the top of Cerro Torre by a new route, the Italian-Argentinean team composed of Korra Pesce and Tomás Aguiló suffered an avalanche accident as they began the descent. If Tomás Aguiló, injured, could be rescued, Korra Pesce will not come back.
