The New Sun (2022)

Moments prior to the planet's final collapse, the Sun - the final witness to humanity's extinction - talks directly to us and dictates our final meditation. With a monologue that alternates between scientific theory, poetry, banal jokes and songs, the Sun resembles an irritating and unstable troll, who celebrates and satirises our decadence, while making us promises of love. A hypnotic film about a world in ruins where the only immutable element is language.
