Atonia (2023)

In order to reach her goal, Lydia needs to come to terms with her feelings. The night before her little sister Evie's birthday she experiences her usual spell of sleep paralysis but this time her dream-like state becomes reality and Evie appears to guide her through some painful memories of her past. We see the burn accident, Evie and Lydia's time in the hospital, Lydia's relationship with drugs, and times when Lydia hasn't been there for her sister at previous birthdays. Upon waking up, Lydia realises she has to act or her relationship with Evie and the life she's hoped for herself could be lost forever.
