Gray Matter (2023)

Aurora, a teenager with mental superpowers, lives in isolation under her mother Ayla's strict guidance. After a rebellious night out, Aurora is taken to a so-called "safe haven" for individuals like her, but the facility proves less than hospitable. the film is elevated by Mia Isaac's standout performance and a visually compelling 86-minute runtime. Strongly recommend for Isaac's portrayal alone, and for Andrew Jeric's cinematography that adds to the feature.
