The Cabinet (2022)

In the age of the internet and technology it's an incredible time to be a consumer, allowing us to upgrade and replace our belongings with the click of the button. But has part of this mentality trickled over into our human interactions? "It's easier to fall in love with something shiny and someone new, but it's hard to turn what's right in front of you into treasure." "The Cabinet" is a short film about slowing down to cherish the people you really love, and the very human dilemma of knowing when to hold on and when to let go. Using the cabinet as a metaphor, we wanted to share the beauty of both choices. In the age of updates, long careers and enduring relationships like that of Mary and Vincent are few and far between. In her wisdom, Mary's character shares that "not everyone you loose is a loss, but life is not long enough to waste on someone who doesn't reflect the best parts of you."
