California Pie (2023)

Three slice-of-life stories depict life in California, across generations and geography. In "The Suburbs," after a disastrous party, a teenager reconciles with his father; in "The City," a young woman in San Francisco struggles to keep up appearances; and, in "The Coast," a writer, at midlife, reflects on love, loss, and dinosaurs while at Big Sur.
