The Apothecary Diaries (2023)

While living a quiet life as the daughter of an apothecary, Maomao is kidnapped and sold as a servant at the imperial court, where she ends up staying to earn some money. Despite her reluctance to draw attention to herself, her curiosity gets the better of her when she solves the ailment of one of the emperor's young children, and soon her knowledge is sought after by the entire court. The first season adapts most of the manga's 40 chapters and was widely praised on its release.
