Abenteuer Weihnachten (2023)

Eight-year-old Nina is excited for Christmas. The fact that her stepfather Jerry not only brings his ex-wives and their new partners, but also five "siblings" gives her hope for a big celebration. But unfortunately the beloved grandma, who brought the 13-member patchwork family together last year, is no longer alive. When "Uncle" Horst gets a bloody nose at the failed planning meeting, contemplation becomes a distant memory. To save Christmas, Nina's sixteen-year-old brother Jeremy decides to launch a secret operation. Armed with Jerry's credit card, the six children secretly make their way to an alpine hut in the Tyrolean mountains. Now the quarreling parents begin not only the search, but also the reflection on themselves. Only when they face their life's lies and secrets do the selfish adults begin to understand the magic of Christmas.
