Momo - The game of death (2023)

Energetic, young and vibrant Detective Saikat Choudhury succeeds Senior Detective Kunaljit after his retirement. He gets his first case - to find out about a murderer and a homicide that happened the previous night. On the day of Navami (the 9th day of Bengal's famous Durga Puja festival), Police officer Mr. Banerjee visits Saikat's house, about saving his brother Kaushik from the clutches of jail. The previous night, the police found 2 dead bodies in Kaushik's house-a male and a female. As a prime suspect, Kaushik has been arrested. Kaushik is a very good author and writes superb pieces on serial killers. However, as luck would have it, he didn't get the recognition his genius deserves. He is still struggling to earn his place in the world / to prove himself. Saikat found out that Kaushik is addicted to MOMO Game Challenge when he went to meet him in the jail/custody. He is actually very close to MOMO. He had a supernatural power - he could have precognition's and retro-cognition about what is happening around. Detective Inspector Saikat Choudhury jots down all the details he can about MOMO from his nephew, Bitti - she works as his assistant. The police identified the bodies, as being the female Security officer Maya, in Kaushik's flat and the other one was a publisher - Manish Jain. He was also addicted to MOMO.
