Three settings from varied world orders, three key characters that include the common folk and the one, all-superior force, form the backbone of World Zombied. Through the utilization of these elements, the film becomes an exploration of the themes of oppression and liberation. The vicious cycle of exploitation and injustice inflicted upon the marginalized is presented through parallel narratives. These include the mid-fifties and the magical realism of the mystical Seoni Forests, the realm of goons and gangsters that predominate the eighties, and finally, the present-day of mechanized desk workers.
