This documentary short film is to give awareness to the manual craft of chair-weaving. This technique has been passed down from parents to children, typically performed by men, and is in danger of extinction. Through image, voice, and movement, we narrate the story of one of the few people in Spain still dedicated to chair-weaving: Rosa Barrufet from Valls. She carries on her shoulders the bond of three generations who have passed on this craft as a legacy from parents to children through their family store, Cal Blanco. Her story has a special connection to popular culture, especially the story of Human Towers.
