The year is 1954. Frank, a police officer in his thirties, mourns his wife Rachel, who died in an accident. Frank writes letters to his lover to let her know that he can no longer live without her. Frank prefers to be with his wife by committing suicide. One day he has strange dreams. In his dreams, his subconscious tries to lead him to the path of acceptance. Rachel also tries to contact him. Frank does not know what is happening to him and goes in search of an answer. With time, his dreams become more and more strange. Frank hears Rachel's voice more and more clearly. Even during the day, he hears her talking to him. In one of his dreams, he encounters a version of himself, who points out to him that he should accept what will come and not think about it too much. Feel, not think. Frank kept all possessions that were dear to Rachel. He can't part with it. When Frank touches the items, his wife's memories come back. Sometimes so lively that it seems as if Rachel is in the same room with him. When Frank is at his lowest point, he gets several visits from Rachel. He thinks about what he has learned in his dreams. He senses that this time is different. Frank lets it happen but doesn't know what's wrong with him yet. Rachel, and the people Frank encounters hold up a mirror to him. They try to show him that he can find the answer within himself. With Rachel's help, he can learn to live with his lack, giving his wife's memories a place.
