Ships in the Night (2023)

David's (28) insecurities are fuelled by the divided attention of his girlfriend Emmy (27). She is fully occupied with her successful career in beauty business, which amplifies David's feelings of failure. A private man, he resents Emma's constant broadcasting of their life on social media. He feels she only does it to benefit her image, and it hurts him to see how distant they are in real life. Instead of communicating his pain, David tries to hurt Emma back with something similarly false - a fake social media account to challenge and troll her beauty business in the public eye.
