Águas Claras (2021)

"Aguas Claras" is a film shot in the region of Capão, in Bahia, that explores the symbolism of the orixás Oxum and Logun Edé and the maternal love. The protagonist represents the river and the beauty of nature, and one day she falls in love with the forest, where she has a relationship. When consulting the Ifá oracle to know her destiny, she discovers that her son is in danger. With this revelation, she embarks on a journey of love, courage, and determination to protect her son and face the obstacles that life puts in her way. The story is an ode to nature and the strength of maternal love, exploring myths of Afro-Brazilian culture.
