Privacy Lost (2023)

In the near future, augmented reality will become commonplace in society, distributed by many of the largest tech companies in the world. PRIVACY LOST (2023) is a cautionary short film about the dangers of augmented reality (mixed reality) to invade our privacy and manipulate our behaviors, especially when combined with the power of generative AI. Privacy Lost was produced to push for regulation of AR, MR, and AI technologies that are rapidly approaching. It was written by Louis Rosenberg, an early researcher who developed mixed reality at Air Force Research Laboratory over thirty years ago and now a vocal advocate for regulation.
