The Golden Apron

A documentary crew follows 5 main home chefs who will be competing in The Golden Apron, a cooking competition to determine the best in the country. The event is being sponsored by Fern Foods, a condiment company that is intent on combining the contest with the roll-out of their latest dijon spread, Gourmandaise, much to the chagrin of their handpicked judge, the eccentric European foodie Wolf Ulvan. Despite the corporate agenda, Wolf and crew visit each contestant at their homes all over the nation, before they go head to head in the final showdown for culinary glory. Will it be Kentucky shut-in Rock Gustafson? Firey restaurateur twins, Drew and Syd Kenilworth from New York? Anthony Reynolds, the indie line cook from Virginia? Mary Lynn Hoffman, the recently-divorced former TV personality from Colorado? Or maybe the flavor of the week; the "Banksy of food", Bosko, from who-knows-where? Only one can walk away with the 10K prize, opportunity to work for Fern Foods, and of course, the titular Golden Apron. Who will it be?
