The hero of the film - Jan Ptaszyn Wroblewski is an absolutely legendary figure for the entire Polish jazz scene. A man of institution: musician, composer, arranger, critic, pedagogue, showman, outstanding jazz theorist. His biography is at the same time the history of syncopated music in Poland. The structure of the film is built on the narrative of the protagonist, who, starting from early childhood, bound his life, for better or worse, to jazz. The musician's statements are supplemented by his friends and colleagues from different periods of his creative path. And he worked with all the most prominent artists of our jazz scene. They include Henryk Miskiewicz, Wojciech Karolak, Lora Szafran and the already legendary Jerzy Dudus Matuszkiewicz. The entire film is complemented by unique archival footage.
