Metal Battle Girl (2023)

Professional snowboarder Silvia Mittermüller is in a traumatic conflict with her federation. Being expelled from the national team immediately after her participation at the Olympics, she plunged into a deep depression with thoughts of suicide. Now, three years later, she wants to return to the Olympics once more. Not even a serious injury during the shooting of this film shall stop her. But it turns out that the end of her career has already been decided - by the president of the German snowboard federation. He asks Silvia to stop her career, although her athletic level and her World Cup points justify a continuation. The film itself becomes part of the story when the president offers Silvia to grant her a comeback, provided she "cleans" this film from all criticism towards the federation. Does Silvia succumb to the federation official or does she take the chance to start a new phase of her life?
