The Boy (2023)

Avinoam and Barak, father and son, live near the Gaza Strip and each cope with new rounds of fighting in their own way. While Avinoam clings to his routine and continues working in the camp, Barak finds it impossible to carry on with this life. One night, Barak reaches his limit and his father has to restrain him. Directed by Yahav Winner and inspired by his own childhood, this short film was the filmmaker's last work before he was killed while saving his wife and son during the conflict.
