Il viaggio dell'Aquila - Nascita di un supereroe (2012)

A former magistrate of the anti-mafia pool (friend and imaginary colleague of Falcone and Borsellino), following the massacres of '92, decides to flee from Palermo, taking refuge in Egypt. To return to his Ithaca later many years, disfigured by an accident that makes him unrecognizable. Corrupted by guilt, like a ghost hovering through the city, will decide to close the accounts with his past: dusting off old files and carrying out complicated investigations into the new political-criminal plots, now tied up in intricate international affairs. And especially going down the streets in the guise of a real "justice officer". On board a motorcycle and with his old toga worn as a kind of mantle, will carry on a personal, romantic and impossible struggle against the great Monster of his city: sprawling, shapeless, elusive, reproducible...the Mafia. This hybrid docu-teaser reconstructs his story and the story of his complex editorial and cinematographic project. To date unpublished.
