Bestial Ones (2022)

A family drama that follows Fiadh, a young, discontented single-mother who spends her days working as a home care nurse and her nights amongst the grit and grime of Dublin's DIY punk scene. Fiadh shares a flat with her father Danny and troubled son Maithi. He was born when Fiadh was still a teenager, and as the two grew up together, they also grew apart. This resulting rift has caused Fiadh to feel restless, believing life would be better if she had her independence. An unexpected encounter with an old acquaintance offers an opportunity for escape, forcing her to choose between her child or the chance to leave everything behind and start over.
