The film tells the story of a famous Parisian model of the 1950s - Alla Ilchun (Elshin) a Christian Dior's muse who became a star of "haute couture". Thanks to her Kazakh and Russian origins, Alla reformed the fashion world as one of the first Asian models in post-war Europe.
