The year is 2028, five years after the Coronavirus-19 Pandemic has swept the globe. People suffering from post lock-down stress are commonplace - and those who refuse to leave their houses to resume 'normal living' are labeled as 'The Insiders.' The government has decreed that 'Insiders' still cloistering themselves in their homes by the end of the year will be detained in special facilities for 'treatment'. Meanwhile, private business are running WHO-backed, online programs, in an effort to oblige 'Insiders' to reintegrate into society. IVY, a teenage girl traumatized with post-Lockdown syndrome, is an 'INsider', at risk of detention, unless she transitions back to 'normal living'. Her mother, NANCY, engages a company specializing in online assistance programs for 'INsiders', in a bid to ensure that IVY is re-integrated before the government deadline is up. Will they make it in time? And why has IVY really chosen not to leave her home during the past five years?
