Mauer des Schweigens (2022)

Police officers Thomas and Grebe are not only partners, they are friends. When they are on patrol one evening, they are called to an operation, and end up chasing a suspect. Thomas manages to grab the suspect and force him to the ground. In the struggle he loses his service weapon. Before Thomas can process what is happening, his partner Grebe shots at the fleeing suspect. To Grebe it seemed the suspect reached for his partners' gun. Thomas is unable to confirm this perception. Still at the crime scene, Thomas realizes that other police officers support Grebe and expect the same of him. As Thomas hesitates to finish his report, colleagues and superior officers pressure him more and more. Only when Grebe himself asks Thomas for support, does he realize the dilemma he is in: he has to choose between truth or loyalty.
