Silence Remains (2023)

Annegret's life was turned upside down after her beloved dog Donny died. Apart from the painful emptiness caused by Donny's passing, she was especially hurt by friends questioning her grief for a "mere animal". Though we rarely resemble our animals closer than in death, we actively avoid to confront ourselves with this unpleasant part of our relationship. Silence remains tries to approach this tender topic emphatically and sets out to give it a dimension closer to our own, human mortality.
