La luce della notte tells the story of Father Giovanni Boccardi, a priest and astronomer who lived and worked in Italy in the Nineteenth century. Through a reenactment and interviews with contemporary astronomer, scientists, priests and historians, we discover his life, while investigating the relationship between faith and science.
