This award-winning film emphasizes the spiritual and humane values of American politician Abraham Lincoln. Most of the dialogue is from his speeches and letters. Also included are prints, photographs, paintings and documents from various sources. Co-written and produced by Cecile Starr, who has traveled the country as a teacher and lecturer of filmmaking, experimental animation and film criticism, and her husband, director/producer Aram Boyajian, the film is a landmark in the television history of the 1970s.
