The Ali'i King

The Ali'i King is based on a family road trip that Writer/Director Christine Kunewa Walker went on as a young girl while growing up in 1960s Salt Lake City. When chaos in the household threatens a family road trip from Salt Lake, UT to the newly opened Enchanted Tiki Room, ten-year old May Kaiwi takes charge only to discover that the road to "the happiest place on earth" comes with painful realizations.
