EX is a documentary about former drug addicts, who found a way out from the abyss of their existences . Angels who have started to move among the towers of Tor Bella Monaca distributing clean syringes to profess a possibility of healing. Here, where the last and the marginalised people hide behind grey buildings, these heroes bring hope and harmony in a world of chaos. Through their eyes, the suburbs and the people who live there are transformed. The sharp lines of the architecture become a landscape style, the people a neo-realist portraits, in the darkest underground poetry blossoms and everything return to life again.
