Made by Immigrants (2022)

An American son of Italian immigrants discovers hidden documents, photos and letters belonging to his deceased parents. A revelation that prompts him to investigate his genetic roots. He discovers that his parents and grandparents, who emigrated to America before them, all came from the same small southern Italian town, Mercogliano, Avellino. A town that has grown over time but is rich in tradition. This New York born man travels to this city full of relatives, in search of answers to his past and wonders how his life would have been different if he had also been born there. By doing this, a new and unexpected world opens up, exposing the complex saga of immigration in America. Those distant issues are no longer something that is foreign to him, and, in fact, could prove to be the red thread that has guided his own destiny.
