The Fire Circle

The greatest fire circle on earth convenes in the Black Rock Desert at Burning Man. Led by Burning Man co-founder Crimson Rose and the Fire Conclave council, this ritual of expression through fire performance has become an enshrined moment of spectacle for the participatory event. Hopeful groups of performers from across the states and from nations abroad, strive to be accepted into the conclave to join in this aptly named Great Circle. If successful, it is their moment to dance with the flame before all of Black Rock City. It is their honor to burn the Man.
