The Storm

Set in a classic American small town, modern day. Very Norman Rockwell or Thomas Kinkade, where neighbors get along and all know each other and willing to help each other out. The lead characters are Tristan and Maddy. They are in community college and they have known each other their whole lives and have dated all through high school. In town, on the surface everything looks fine, but just like people anywhere else they have layers. When a tornado comes to town and everyone ends up in the church basement, sheltering together, it creates a pressure cooker situation and as secrets come out you could cut the tension with a knife. What will people do when faced with life or death scenarios? Turn on each other? Turn on God? Or ask for help from God and rise to the occasion?
