Support

Support is a comedic social commentary film on the various issues that female actors face within the film and television industry. All played by one actress who assumes different characters, the film features a support group of actors who disclose their professional challenges with each other and a therapist. Following several ongoing issues that actresses have been experiencing in the industry, a group therapy session is organised for actors to meet and share their challenges in order to support each other for emotional healing. The therapy session turns into a hilarious mess with only 6 actresses attending, an ageing veteran, an American starlet, a sexually objectified African Queen, an aspiring wannabe and a celebrity serial dater . The therapy session takes an unexpected climax when the therapist gets a life changing phone call, an acting job from her acting career that she has been secretly pursing on the side.
