The story at it's core is about the conditions of being a black man in Americans inner cities. Through the eyes of EzI we follow him attend a all black male group therapy session where he's challenged by an elder group participant to speak and tell his story. Fighting through the memory of a traumatic experience his past catches up with him and begins to take over his current surroundings. Achieving self healing his redemption is cut short as his story becomes intertwined with that of another man in the group. The story shifts to this new character who is faced with the choice. Pull the trigger or put the gun down and break the cycle. This movie shines light on mental health within the black community and but also challenges the audience to ponder the question why tomorrow never comes.
