Storyline:  Based on the novel by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir, the story follows Ódinn, an investigator who begins to look into a series of deaths that occurred decades ago at a juvenile treatment center. But what seemed like a closed case reveals dark secrets possibly linked to the mysterious and recent suicide of his ex-wife. As the investigation progresses, Ódinn fears his daughter may also be in danger.
