Set in our fast approaching future, HYPER_EXT revolves around a wealthy Filipina financier arguing on the London Underground with her husband over a stream of text messages. As the thrust and parry of their discussion moves from the prurient details of expanding the boundaries of their sexual relationship to more intimate and personal revelations, observers worm their way in. Prying eyes look over her shoulder while tech company filters and algorithms mine their discourse for oh-so-helpful consumer based solutions to their problems.
