"888" is essentially a two-hour long therapy session intertwined into a cinematic experience as we unravel a story of a young man asking a therapist to help him uncover repressed memories about his adolescence. It is soon revealed the therapist is none other than his own mother speaking to her unborn child, and their sessions have been taking place inside her womb during labor complications. What follows is a surreal chronicle of birth, death, adolescence and adulthood as the young man must make a choice of if he wants to be born into this world.
