The Buschers - An Alzheimer's Story is based on a true event. Stan Buscher (Larry DiBartolomeo) suffers from Alzheimer's and his wife Shirley Buscher (Mary Faktor) attempts to care for him during this time. Alzheimer's episodes are unpredictable and can happen at any time with any trigger. We follow Stan as an episode comes on and he ends up attacking Shirley. Her quick thinking and bizarre response is able to pull Stan from the episode back into reality.
