The GOSH Projects Creative Laboratory and the Foundation for Cancer Research Support (RakFond) have teamed up to take a fresh look at the problem of oncology in the modern world. For the past year, cellist, composer and filming curator Georgy Gusev, together with the founder of RakFond Kristina Zakurdaeva (MD, PhD in hematology), have met with scientists, doctors and their patients from around the globe. The result of these interviews was not just a documentary, but an educational film project - Music of Cells. Why the synthesis of science and art? Music of cells is not only an attempt to talk about a cancer problem within the framework of a documentary film, but also a call for cohesive, joint work of the entire scientific community and the involvement of all caring people. Cancer has been known throughout human history, but today it is taking on a new dimension. Why is this so? What awaits us? And will there be a day when cancer is defeated? The heroes of the film will try to answer these and many other questions. The amazingly beautiful world of cells, like music, strives for harmony. The soundtrack of the film (composed by Georgy Gusev) will allow you to hear the encrypted code of the human genome - the motive of the music of our cells.
