Recognition (2022)

Cecilia awakens to find herself in a beautiful, yet eerily familiar location next to a man from her past. Uneasy, she shakes off the feeling that something is amiss. Despite her partner's multiple attempts to comfort her, he is left asking whether she loves him. Unable to answer, Cecilia abruptly exits her dream. She opens her eyes to find herself seated across from her non-traditional therapist who has just pulled her out of a memory-induced augmented reality session. In a last-ditch attempt to help Cecilia break through this fastidious mental block, he guides her through a meditation that unlocks the truth behind the memory she has fought many years to keep hidden in a fantasy.
