Flathead (2024)

On his return to Bundaberg, Cass, an old man whose life has been marked by tragedy, begins a spiritual journey. During this process of self-discovery he meets Andrew, a young man going through his own grief, and together they find support in their shared pain. Directed by Jaydon Martin, the film fuses elements of documentary and fiction to portray the everyday life of working-class Australians, reflecting on the complexities of life and death.
