Still Hunting (2022)

A veteran turned hunter living in the city shoots coyotes for the local butcher until he has to turn his barrel on a new younger hunter intent on ruining his life. A dark twisted comedy about one's love for their dog, game, and gun. Richard, a retired Vietnam veteran, is content drinking his memories away and hunting urban coyotes for the local butcher, Ricardo, who sells their meat to the ignorant. The butcher's nephew, Derrick, moves into town and begins taking Richard's game and hunting in his territories. The beef between the two boils over when a crazed man loses the lottery and tries robbing Ricardo's store for the millions he feels he is owed. An armed Richard watches this all unfold but fails to do anything about it. Ricardo tells Richard to never return and Derrick points his gun at Richard's hunting dog and best friend for revenge. From there, things only get as dark as Los Angeles will let them.
