DISAPPEAR HERE is about the 1990's music scene across Sydney and Melbourne, with a focus on William Arthur and his band, Glide. The narrative will be formed by interviews with surviving band members as well as Aussie music industry luminaries including Tim Rogers (You Am I), Jamie Hutchings (Bluebottle Kiss), Peter Fenton (Crow) and Jane Gazzo (ABC's Recovery and Triple J). William's songs possess the heft and imagination of the likes of Tim Rogers and Steve Kilbey, yet they remain largely undiscovered. DISAPPEAR HERE will celebrate Glide's music alongside that of bands including You Am I, Crow and Bluebottle Kiss in a textural and dreamy exploration of the 90's through the experiences of Glide and these artists. DISAPPEAR HERE is a completely independent production which is being directed, shot, edited and written by Ben deHoedt.
