A film about losing your child at birth. Pia Vieth and Carsten Kressner act as a couple who try to live with the emptiness. Three private couples - Jesper and Helle, Birgitte and Preben and Ulrik and Birgitte - share their personal experiences. They all lost a newborn child and all knew that the child would be dead at birth. How did they react before and after such a strong crisis in their lives with experiences of bitterness, feeling punished, strength and togetherness?
