A young widow (Lara) struggles to come to terms with the death of her husband (Matt). The film begins with a flashback scene of the couple at Pen y Fan in Wales, discussing where Lara will live after Matt dies. The couple swim in the water, which is where we see Matt's ashes return to at the end of the film. After a dispute with Matt's mother, Lara dresses in her ex-husband's suit and showers, fully clothed, in an attempt to release and begin to grieve. When this doesn't work, she finds the ashes on the table and covers herself in the ashes. After the move to London, Lara's new flatmates assume she has a drug problem when they see white powder appearing regularly. Despite being professionals in psychology and mental health, the pair's reaction to the situation results in a big disagreement. At the end of the film, the new friends convince Lara to scatter the ashes in water, where her and Matt spent his final days. The film follows an unconventional narrative and storytelling structure with poetry and flashes of flowers throughout.
